What is the project about?

It is a free pre-school and primary school in Kimanto A, where there are no other schools nearby that can provide education to the little ones.

We believe in empowering and equipping local leaders. We help people who are helping people.

Abraham Maslow

A non-profit organization that provides free preschool and primary education in the village of Kimanto, Uganda, currently benefiting 296 students.

There are no nearby public schools, and families lack the resources to cover school fees.
Poor and limited facilities.
Low visibility and presence of volunteers.
Lack of organizational structure to access international funding.

Educational Infrastructure

Funding for the reconstruction of 3 temporary classrooms for the reopening of the school in 2022 (first school year).
Available grades during 2022: Baby Class, Top Class, and Primary 1.
Funding for the construction of a dividing wall for the bathrooms according to local requirements.
Funding for the acquisition of an adjacent 1-acre (4,046 square meters) plot for the development and expansion of the school.
Funding for the construction of the first permanent brick and concrete classroom (2023, to be completed).
Funding for the construction of a temporary classroom for Primary 3 students and benches for new students in the 2024 school year.

Guidance for improving the website and social media.
Support in the process of registering on platforms to process online donations.
Guidance and support for generating operational documentation (educational, financial, and legal).
Funding for teachers’ salaries during the 2022, 2023, and 2024 school years.

Sustainability and Institutional Development

Development of a Sponsorship Program that, through a monthly donation, helps cover the costs for the children's schools and school materials, as well as more efficient fundraising channels that allow for the maintenance and generation of infrastructure for the project.
